Research Project                 6 CREDITS

Purpose:

This course is aimed to help the learner develop knowledge and skills in the conduct of research involving topics in educational and leadership resource management .

Expected Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, the students are expected to:

i) Understand and apply research methods in educational and leadership resource management including research design, data analysis, and interpretation.

ii) Formulate testable research hypotheses that can be validated.

iii) Demonstrate the difference between research design from measurement design.

iv) Design and conduct quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods research studies, using a

variety of techniques.

v) Adhere to ethical guidelines for the collection, storage, and use of data from human

participants.

vi) Evaluate the appropriateness of research conclusions and their generalizability.

Course Content:

In this culminating course, students will design and implement a research project addressing a specific educational management and leadership resource management challenge. Projects will require students to apply concepts from previous courses, conduct research, and present their findings to peers and faculty.

This curriculum provides a comprehensive overview of essential topics in educational management, and leadership resource management, equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead and manage institutions effectively.

Mode of delivery

Research project, data collection, and library research. It will be supervised by a lecturer.

Online tools such as Zoom, Google class and voice recording.
